Stephen Curry is a guard for the Golden State Warriors and is widely considered the greatest shooter in the game today. Some would argue that he’s the best shooter of all-time after just six seasons in the NBA.

At 6-foot-3, 185 pounds, Curry is not big on size, but he is very big on talent.

He was named the 2015 NBA Most Valuable Player after leading the Warriors to an NBA-best and team-record 67 wins and finished the season by leading the team to its first NBA championship in 40 years. Curry is a two-time All-Star and led all players in fan votes in 2015.

The secret to Curry’s game is his ability to shoot from anywhere on the court, his outstanding ball-handling skills that allow him create shots for himself and his teammates, as well as his court vision and passing ability.

He broke his own record for 3-pointers made in a single season as he knocked down 286 threes in 2014-15. That is a league-best 3.6 3-pointers made each game. Curry and teammate Klay Thompson ranked 1-2 in 3-pointers made last season and have earned the nickname the Splash Brothers.

Basketball runs in the Curry family. Stephen’s father is former NBA player Dell Curry, who would take Stephen and his younger brother, Seth, to practice with him during his playing days in Charlotte and Toronto. Seth is now a member of the Sacramento Kings.
