But what is Summer League?
The NBA Summer League follows the NBA Draft and tends to start at the beginning of July. This year, the three different leagues play from July 1-17.
Summer League is your first chance to see all of the NBA’s top draft picks take the court! The rosters feature mostly young players under the age of 25 who are new to the NBA or have been in the league for only a year or two.

The NBA Summer League is actually three different leagues – Orlando (July 1-6), Utah (July 3-6) and Las Vegas (July 7-17). Each league plays a few group games to determine a bracket before competing for the league’s championship trophy.
