1. Kemba Walker
Kemba Walker became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer on Wednesday night, notching 21 points and eclipsing 9,841 points in a Charlotte jersey to top Dell Curry’s longtime mark of 9,839. Though the Hornets lost to the Cavaliers, 118-105, Kemba gave the Charlotte crowd something to cheer about.
2. Karl-Anthony Towns
Minnesota’s Karl-Anthony Towns had a hot hand Wednesday night, notching an astounding career-high and new franchise-high 56 points. He shot 19 of 32 from the field and 12 of 15 from the free throw line, netting 30 points and 11 rebounds in the second half. The Timberwolves went on to defeat the Hawks behind Towns’ impressive performance, 126-114.
3. LeBron James
Last night, Cleveland’s LeBron James tallied his 866th consecutive game of scoring in double-digits, tying the record set by Hall of Famer Michael Jordan. To add to his night of achievements, a fourth quarter steal gave him 1,859 for his career, passing Kevin Garnett for 17th on that all-time list.
