1. Porzingis, Beasley lead Knicks to 13th MSG win

Kristaps Porzingis posted 37 points and 11 rebounds while Michael Beasley made the biggest plays in overtime, including the tiebreaking follow shot. The Knicks squelched Lonzo Ball and the Lakers’ momentum to go back over .500 at 14-13 — all but one of those wins transpiring in Madison Square Garden.

2. Happy to have Embiid back

After being sidelined for two games and watching his team descent into a four-game losing streak, Joel Embiid returned to action with 28 points in the 76ers 118-112 overtime win. The center hit two free throws to force OT, then scored seven points in the extra session for a breakaway from Minnesota.

3. Brooklyn pulls off fifth win in last eight games

The highly sought after shooting guard Allen Crabbe came up big when it mattered most on Tuesday night at the Barclays Center. The 25-year-old drained a smooth three-pointer with 44 seconds remaining, leading the Nets to their fifth win in as many as eight games.
