1. The KD Show

When the Warriors needed a hero the most, their small forward stepped up. In the absence of an injured Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, Kevin Durant put up his first triple-double of the season in Golden State’s 101-87 win over the Hornets.

2. Happy Birthday Giannis!

The ‘Greek Freak’ celebrated his 23rd birthday by leading the Bucks to a fourth-quarter surge, posting 25 points and splashing eight of his 12 free throw attempts in Milwaukee’s close 104-100 win over Detroit.

3. 40/22

Pelicans’ big man DeMarcus Cousins recorded 40 points to go along with 22 rebounds and four blocks to down Denver in a 123-114 win. It’s Cousins’ second time this season scoring at least 40 points and 20 rebounds, the first coming on Oct. 26 against Sacramento.
