1. Under the wire

The Lakers small forward had impeccable timing in Philadelphia. Brandon Ingram scored 21 points, including the game-winning three-pointer with just 0.8 seconds remaining, to lead the Lakers to a huge 107-104 win over the 76ers.

2. Winning overseas

The Nets kept up their balance in Brooklyn’s Mexico City opener against Russell Westbrook and Oklahoma City. Aware of being short-handed due to team injuries, Caris Levert finished with a 21-point, 10 assist double-double in the 100-95 win.

3. Rocket fuel

The Rockets’ explosive offense never let up on the Jazz, overwhelming Utah with a consistent attacking pace throughout the match up. James Harden posted 29 points while Ryan Anderson record 23 in the 112-101 victory.
