The first-ever Jr. NBA Europe & Middle East Finals featured 12 (6 boys, 6 girls) U-15 teams from England, Germany, Lebanon, Qatar, Spain, and United Arab Emirates. Each team nominated players to participate in All-Star activities including a Jr. NBA Skills Challenge, 3-point contest, and an All-Star Game. The first-ever Jr. NBA EME Finals Champions, Team Spain (girls) and Team England (boys) were recognized during the International Basketball Week game at Etihad Arena.
A Jr. NBA Coaches Clinic is a one to four-hour professional development session to enhance youth basketball coaches’ skills and knowledge. They occasionally feature guest coaches and current or former NBA coaches as clinicians. Milwaukee Bucks Assistant Coach, Mike Dunlap led a Jr. NBA Coaches Clinic during the NBA Abu Dhabi Global Games.
The Jr. NBA Week in France occured during the NBA Paris Game 2023. The week consited of ten Jr. NBA Clinics featuring notable appearances by French, former NBA players Tony Parker, Ronny Turiaf, and Mickael Pietrus. Other programming included two Jr. NBA Coaches Clinics, two Jr. NBA Referees Clinics, a Special Olympics Clinic, and two Jr. NBA Skills Challenges.
