In 2023, Jr. NBA 3v3 Tournaments were held in 14 cities across India at the U12 and U14 age levels for boys and girls. The winners at each age level qualified for the Jr. NBA Finals held in Delhi.
The ACG Jr. NBA program is a nationwide 3v3 tournament for the top U-14 players and the largest school-based program across India. This year, the program is organized in collaboration with the Basketball Federation of Indian (BFI) and has Skechers as the official kit partner.
The program features boys’ and girls’ divisions, with teams from schools across India competing in tournaments held in Chennai, Mumbai, Aizawl, Bhubaneswar, Delhi and Ludhiana. The top eight boys’ and girls’ teams from each city will advance to a league phase, where the top three teams and one all-star team, from each division, will compete in the league finals early next year.
Since 2013, the Jr. NBA program has reached more than 14 million youth and 15K physical education instructors across 35 cities in India. The ACG Jr. NBA program is part of the NBA’s broader basketball development initiatives in India, which include collaborations with local business and federations. These initiatives feature the NBA Basketball School, a network of tuition-based basketball development programs open to male and female players ages 6-18, and Basketball Without Borders Asia, the NBA and FIBA’s global basketball development and community outreach program, which has been held in India twice.

The Jr. NBA Coaches Academy provides Physical Education teachers with tools to implement basketball training in their schools. In 2023, the Jr. NBA program hosted Coaches Academies in 14 cities.
The 2023 Jr. NBA India program included 5 online Jr. NBA Coaches Clinics featuring NBA coaches sharing their knowledge. Additionally, the program hosted a Jr. NBA Referees Clinic – Online with former NBA referee Don Hudson.
