NBA China and Beijing Easter Sports Culture Development Co., Ltd, a leading basketball training organization in China, reached a multiyear collaboration in 2023 to develop and implement a basketball training program – Eastar Jr. NBA After-school Program – for aspiring young basketball players across China. This training program combines Eastar’s market-proven grassroots basketball training system with the league’s advanced basketball philosophy to help young players learn the fundamentals of the game and improve their skills.
Starting from 2023, Eastar starts to establish and expand this program to 13 key cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Changsha, Qingdao, Shenyang, Nanjing, Chengdu, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Chongqing. Every year, Eastar Jr. NBA After-school Program hosts multiple offline player selection events and foreign coach open classes to engage more young basketball players to participate in the training program.
