The Jr. NBA is the league’s global youth basketball program for boys and girls that teaches the fundamental skills and core values of the game: Sportsmanship, Teamwork, positive Attitude and Respect (S.T.A.R.). The Jr. NBA is focused on helping grow and improve the youth basketball experience at the grassroots level for players, coaches and parents. Since April 2023, the NBA collaborated with the B.LEAGUE, a professional men’s basketball league in Japan, to conduct a series of Jr. NBA clinics for players and coaches throughout the region, including Chugoku-Kyushu, Kansai-Tokai, Kanto and Tohoku.
