Kerr explains, “Coaching is not controlling.” He shares his experience of joining the Warriors, wondering how to implement his many new ideas and realizing he would need an approach similar to steering a ship: it would take time and support and help from everyone involved. He communicates his vision and helps athletes incrementally toward team goals.
